A life-long Stewart County resident and 1999 graduate of Stewart County High School, Dr. Duncan received a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Murray State University in 2004 and Master's and Specialist degree in Administration from Murray State in 2006 & 2010. In 2013, he received a Doctorate degree of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Tennessee State University. Dr. Duncan has been a part of the SCHS faculty since 2004 and an adjunct math instructor at Murray State University since 2010.  

In 2008, he married Leslie Lyons Duncan, who works for the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and they have one son, Cooper. Dr. Duncan enjoys spending time with his family, commercial fishing, hunting whitetail deer, and interacting with his students!
