2017-18 Assessment Schedule

The Tennessee Department of Education has mandated that every school system in the state provide RTI in an effort to prepare all students for success after high school. Response to Instruction and Intervention is designed to give every student the opportunity to meet high expectations and the support to reach them.

RTI is a time designated to provide remediation (tutoring) and/or enrichment based on a child’s individual needs. The 2 period at each school is twenty-five minutes. During each grading period, teachers will be monitoring the progress made by each student and making recommendations based on each student’s needs.  This initiative is required by the Tennessee Department of Education for all students.

If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact your child’s school.
