Services
Seniors that are planning to attend college or a technical school this fall should apply as soon as possible. Please tell the guidance office where you want to send your final transcripts. The cost per transcript is $1.00.
ACT tutoring is being offered before and after school in Mrs. Connie Baggett's room. Talk to Mrs. Baggett for details. Also for students who are wanting to complete an in-depth study of the act can sign up for the ACT Prep Class offered once per semester by Mr. Riddick.
ACT, Gateway, EoC
The last date to take the ACT at SCHS is on April 12. Regular sign-up has already passed, but you can still pay a late fee. For those of you that have already signed up for this test should be well rested and prepared to take this 4 hour long test. If you are unable to get into this ACT there is another one coming up on June 14. Though it will not be at SCHS, you can still talk to a guidance counselor before school ends to get an information packet.
Gateway testing is being held on May 6 through May 8. Here is a list at when the different gateways will be given out.
Math- May 6th
Language-May 7th
Science-May 8th
End of Course tests will be given May 7th through May 9th. Here is a list when each EoC will be given out.
English 1- May 7
Physical Science- May 8
U.S. History- May 9
Math Foundations 2- May 9

Career
Seniors that don't know what they want to Major after they get out of high school should start looking into careers to work on. Guidance may have some information on the career you might want to get into. You can also look up your selected career on one of these websites.
