Meet your Teacher Hello! Welcome to the Fourth Grade.
My name is Tara Page, I live in Big Rock,
TN, with my husband of 14 years, Jason. We have two children, SarahAnn is 11 years old and Will is
6. After graduating
from Stewart County High School in 1992, I attended Austin Peay State University in
Clarksville, Tennessee. I graduated from APSU in 1996 with a BS in Health
with a concentration in Health Care Management. I worked in the medical
field for 3 years before I re-enrolled at APSU to become a teacher. I
completed my Masters in Education in instructional technology through Walden
University in 2007. I started teaching in January, 2002 at Dover Elementary as the Title I Reading Teacher. The following school year I implemented the Accelerated Math program at North Stewart Elementary. In 2004, I started teaching fourth grade. I work hard to meet the needs of my students, and I would not dream of doing anything else. In my free time, I enjoy reading good books, swimming, camping, going to movies, and fishing. My family is very involved in sports, I feel this helps children learn to be part of a team and develop a good work ethic. I am a very family and goal orientated person. I believe all children can learn in a positive learning atmosphere with the proper support at school and at home.
